Why I co-founded AI Agent Square

I spent nine years inside Oracle watching how enterprise software gets sold to IT buyers. Then I spent more than ten years on the buyer side, cleaning up the contracts that got signed under the pressure those tactics create. AI agents are now going through the same cycle. Vendors are racing to ship. Buyers are racing to evaluate. The material that shows up in the first page of a Google search is almost all written by vendors, or by blogs that earn an affiliate cheque on every click.

That is not a buyer resource. AI Agent Square is. My co founder Morten Andersen and I built this site to do one thing: tell IT leaders and procurement teams which AI agents are worth the money, which are not, and where the contracts are likely to hurt in year two.

What I review

I cover the enterprise heavyweights. ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini Enterprise, and the full stack of coding agents from GitHub Copilot to Cursor to Devin. My beat is where the money is, which means the seat counts above 500, the contracts above six figures, and the integrations that actually touch production systems.

Credentials

Twenty years in enterprise software. Nine years at Oracle in sales and commercial roles. Co Founder of Redress Compliance, a software licensing advisory firm serving Fortune 500 procurement teams. Writer of the Enterprise Spend Navigator newsletter on LinkedIn. Fort Lauderdale based, operating on European time most days.

How I score

Every review on this site runs through the same six dimension rubric: Overall, Features, Pricing, Ease of Use, Support, Integration. The full scoring methodology lives at /methodology. If a vendor pays for placement, the badge says Sponsored. If I earn an affiliate commission on a referral, that disclosure sits at the top of every review. If I used a free account to test, that is stated in the review itself.

Conflicts of interest

I do not take equity in AI vendors I review. I do not take speaking fees from AI vendors I review. My other company, Redress Compliance, advises buyers on enterprise software negotiation, including AI contracts. That experience is why the reviews are useful. It is also a potential conflict when Redress is actively negotiating with a vendor we are reviewing. When that happens, Morten takes the byline and I stay out of the review.
