Why I co-founded AI Agent Square

Every operator I know has asked the same question over the last two years: which AI agents are worth buying, which are worth a pilot, and which are a slide deck with a subscription attached? I have asked it myself while running businesses, including alongside Fredrik at Kings Hospitality, where we adopted AI tools early to do more without adding headcount. The material online was almost entirely vendor-authored or written by affiliate sites with no skin in the game.

AI Agent Square exists to close that gap. We evaluate AI agents the way an owner evaluates any tool that touches the business: real pricing, the integrations that decide whether a pilot ever reaches production, the support you actually get when something breaks, and the total cost of ownership a year or two in.

What I cover

My focus is the operational side of AI agent adoption — the part that decides whether a tool earns its keep. Rollout and onboarding, usage-based pricing that creeps, integration depth with the systems a business already runs, support reality, and what it actually costs to keep a tool in production over time. I write many of the comparison pages on this site and co-author the larger reviews with Fredrik Filipsson.

Experience

Co-Founder of AI Agent Square. Entrepreneur and operator who has built and run multiple businesses and was an early adopter of AI agents to run them. I work alongside Fredrik Filipsson, co-founder and fellow operator, on the major reviews and comparisons published here. The judgment in these reviews comes from deploying these tools in real businesses, not from reading spec sheets.

How I score

All reviews on this site follow the published methodology at /methodology. Six dimensions, consistent weighting, named conflicts of interest, and dated reviews with visible "last updated" timestamps.

Conflicts of interest

I do not take equity in AI vendors I review. I do not take speaking fees from AI vendors I review. AI Agent Square earns no commission on anything we link to — links to vendor sites are plain links. Where a business I run uses a tool under review, I disclose it in the review.
