Why I co-founded AI Agent Square
I am an operator before I am a writer. Over the years I have started and run several businesses, including Kings Hospitality, and I was an early adopter of AI tools to run them — for support, content, scheduling, sales follow-up, and the day-to-day admin that eats an owner's week. When I went looking for honest guidance on which AI agents were actually worth paying for, almost everything I found was vendor marketing or affiliate blogs that earned a commission on every click. That is not a buyer's resource.
AI Agent Square is the resource I wanted as a buyer. My co-founder Morten Andersen and I built it to do one thing: tell business owners, IT buyers, and operators which AI agents are worth the money, which are not, and where the costs and limits bite once a tool is actually in production.
What I review
My focus is the tools an operator touches every day: productivity and writing agents, coding and app-builder tools, customer-support automation, and the AI features now baked into the software businesses already pay for. I care about the things that decide whether a tool survives past the free trial — real pricing after the headline, onboarding friction, integration with the stack you already run, and whether it still earns its seat in month three.

I have deployed AI agents across real businesses — not in a lab — which means the reviews here come from running these tools under budget pressure, with customers and revenue depending on them. When I test a tool, I test it the way I bought it: as someone who has to justify the spend.
How I score
Every review on this site runs through the same six-dimension rubric: Overall, Features, Pricing, Ease of Use, Support, and Integration. The full scoring methodology lives at /methodology. No vendor pays for placement, rankings, or review scores. We run no ads and no affiliate links — links to vendor sites are plain links. If I tested a tool on a free or paid plan, the review says so.

I do not take equity in AI vendors I review. I do not take speaking fees from AI vendors I review. AI Agent Square earns no commission on anything we link to. Where my own businesses use a tool I am reviewing, I say so in the review itself so you can weigh it.
